<p><b>Location: </b>Catholic Education Office, Diocese of Parramatta</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are currently seeking an experienced <strong>Payroll Advisor</strong> to join our team on a full-time temporary contract until 30 June 2023. This role reports to the Payroll Lead and the role has flexibility to work from home and from the office in North Parramatta. You will be joining a friendly team of dedicated Payroll professionals and your role will contribute towards our future success as we focus on building efficiencies across our processes, enabling us to move towards our future of implementing Success Factors. Your role will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Processing fortnightly payroll of employees of Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta, including maintenance of our employee master data&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Responding, supporting and advising employees on complex payroll matters through Service Now&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working closely with the Senior Payroll Advisor to support process improvement initiatives, closing pay activities and reporting&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Supporting and coaching the Payroll Officers with complex matters and supporting with training across the team&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Interpretation and advising across multiple Enterprise Agreements &amp; Awards, ensuring compliance across our processes</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Proven experience working in a similar role in a complex organisation&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">The ability to interpret multiple Enterprise Agreements &amp; Awards and apply your knowledge, to ensure compliance&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">The ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">The ability to innovate and create efficiencies across each of our processes&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills and an inherent desire to provide excellent customer service</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A natural aptitude for collaboration and teamwork&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Skilled in quickly building rapport, communicating and engaging with stakeholders along with a ‘can do’ attitude to drive outcomes</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience working with Employee Central Payroll (Success Factors/SAP) or similar would be preferred but not essential&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Experience coaching and developing junior Payroll staff would be preferred but not essential&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working With Children Check for paid work</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>What's in it for you?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
