You&#39;ll ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school. </p><p>Some of the key duties of the role will be to: </p><ul><li>Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behaviour; </li><li>Effectively deliver the NSW curriculum and enhance the skills and knowledge of students; </li><li>Take responsibility for the well-being of students; </li><li>Communicate with parents/guardians on students&#39; progress; and </li><li>Keep the staff informed and seek ideas for the improvement of the school. </li></ul><p><b>How You&#39;ll Enhance Our School </b></p><p>Applicants for the position<b> must have demonstrated prior experience as a Teacher in a primary school and have internationally recognised teaching qualifications.</b> You&#39;ll need to have good social skills and be culturally sensitive and importantly, be able to build upon existing NSW curriculum structures and methodologies. We are willing to accept applications from all Australian states as all curriculums are transferable. While not essential, it is highly desired that the successful applicants have some preschool experience. </p><p>You&#39;ll be adaptable and able to engage children and parents from a wide range of backgrounds. This role will suit a passionate educational professional who demonstrates warmth, patience, and a caring manner with children, and who is ready and willing to pitch in with the team at <i>New Britain International School. </i></p><p><b>New Britain Palm Oil Limited (NBPOL) </b></p><p>New Britain Palm Oil Limited (NBPOL) is a large-scale, integrated, and leading industrial producer of sustainable palm oil in Australasia; the largest agricultural employer in Papua New Guinea. We are verified under Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) accredited and fully vertically integrated. We produce our own seed (sold globally) and plant, cultivate, and harvest our own land, process and refine palm oil in both PNG and the UK. </p><p>We own three new international schools in Papua New Guinea. We have an extensive library and computer access in each classroom for the children to work with. With Australian expatriate teachers working with Papua New Guinean National teachers and assistants, the Australian (NSW) syllabus is taught from Prep to Grade 7.
