St Bede’s Catholic College is seeking a temporary part time Learning Support Assistant to join the team in Term 3 and cease Term 4, 2022. 

St Bede’s Catholic College is seeking a temporary part time Learning Support Assistant&nbsp;to join the team in Term 3 and work until the end of Term 4, 2022.<br>This position will work 13 hours per week.<br>These will be&nbsp;negotiable over Monday to Thursday.<br><br>St Bede’s Catholic College, in the recently established suburb of Chisholm, is a new co-educational Catholic secondary school that is part of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.<br>The College opened in 2018 and will eventually cater for 1,100 students in Years 7 to 12.<br>Currently, the College has approximately 540 Year 7-10 students, with the first Year 12 cohort to graduate in 2023.&nbsp;<br><br>The key components that drive the development of the school are Courage, Knowledge, Community and Faith.<br>These components align to the four domains of the College’s Strategic Plan – Catholic Formation and Mission, Learning and Teaching, Leadership, Wellbeing and Partnerships.<br>The position of Learning Support Assistant works in collaboration with the Learning Support Teachers to support students with additional needs, supporting the development of inclusive learning environments and providing assistance to teachers to meet the specific learning needs of students with additional needs.&nbsp;<br><br>The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect, and is committed to being compliant with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.
