<p>St Francis Xavier College is a Catholic College with a 2022 enrolment of 3300 students which will continue to grow in 2023. </p><p>The College serves families from the parishes of Berwick, Koo Wee Rup, Maryknoll/Iona, Narre Warren and Pakenham under the governance of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL). </p><p>St Francis Xavier College is easily accessed via several major freeways – only 20 minutes on the M1 from Springvale Road. </p><p>We are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to provide a broad range of IT support services to both staff and students while undertaking them with minimal disruption to the operations of the College. </p><p><b>Key responsibilities include: </b></p><ul><li>Prioritise and resolve enquiries escalated through the helpdesk ticketing system. </li><li>Provide staff and student support for digital technology in the classroom environment </li><li>Deliver and set up equipment for classes as required </li><li>Set up, operate and control digital technologies for campus performances and campus events including assemblies and masses </li><li>Assist with the routine servicing and maintenance of digital technology to ensure it is in circulation and available for use </li><li>Assist in maintaining stock records including; equipment quantities, locations and items on loan </li><li>Support the Digital Technology Team with projects, administration and other duties as required </li></ul><p><b>To excel in this position, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes: </b></p><ul><li>Understanding of digital technology software, systems and hardware </li><li>A relevant degree or diploma would be highly desirable </li><li>Advanced computer skills </li><li>Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team </li><li>Interpersonal skills to relate professionally with students and staff </li><li>Commitment to excellence in customer service </li><li>Ability to analyse and problem solve </li><li>Understanding of relevant compliance regimes </li><li>Commitment to occupational health and safety </li><li>Understanding of and commitment to Catholic education </li></ul><p>Staff are employed under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018.
