Ability to teach Italian would be distinct advantage.</p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Applications are welcome from both experienced and beginning teachers.</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Registration, or eligibility for registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher in Religious Education </li><li>Experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve learning for every student</li><li>Ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Practising Catholic with accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney</li><li>Ability to teach Italian</li><li>Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead and support a range of co-curricular events</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><i>Working With Children Check (WWCC)</i></b></p><p><i>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</i></p><p><b><i><br /></i></b></p><p><b><i>COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence</i></b></p><p><i>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
