CREATING OPPORTUNITIES - The Counselling Services Coordinator ensures high quality counselling services are present in all Catholic schools and colleges in the Diocese of Rockhampton.

Our staff are recognised as being central to achieving our mission and we have an emphasis on caring and supporting teachers in both their vocation in working with students and other aspects of their lives. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the position of Counselling Services Coordinator, a generous salary range of $135,378 - $150,416 applies to this role (pending experience and qualifications). </p><p>The Coordinator of Counselling Services is to ensure that high quality counselling services are present in all schools and colleges in the diocese. The role holder will provide leadership and support in the area of counselling to educational communities in the Diocese of Rockhampton by: </p><ul><li>providing direction, advice and practical support to counsellors working in schools and colleges </li><li>offering advice, and providing professional opinion to, the Director, CEO staff, principals and other colleagues as appropriate </li><li>monitoring the quality of counselling services in all schools and colleges with a view to delivering the best quality service possible </li><li>developing, maintaining and implementing documentation relevant to counselling </li><li>ensuring professional knowledge, skills, interactions and networks of counsellors are promoted and advanced </li><li>being future oriented, considering possible advancements and directions for counselling services in Catholic schools </li></ul><p>The commencement date will be negotiated with the successful applicant. This position will be based in Rockhampton. </p><p><b>About You</b><br /></p><p>The successful applicant will have relevant experience and an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic Education. In addition, you will have excellent time management skills, well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.
