<ul><li>Full-time | Fixed term for Semester 2, 2022 </li><li>Secondary years focus </li></ul><p>We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Humanities and Business / English teacher. Applicants with the ability to also teach Legal Studies will be highly regarded. </p><p><b>In this role, you will: </b></p><ul><li>Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices</li><li>Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy<br /></li><li>Proactively engage with professional renewal practices to enhance student outcomes, and </li><li>Work with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school</li><li>Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.</li></ul><p><b>You will bring to the role: </b></p><ul><li>Demonstrated commitment to the education of young women and the Co-Curricular life of the College </li><li>A clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA processes </li><li>Ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Proven organisational skills </li><li>Ability to engage students with innovative and creative practices. </li></ul><p><b>About our school: </b></p><p>Located on 15 hectares of beautiful leafy grounds, St John Fisher College is a Catholic secondary college in the Mercy tradition offering a contemporary education for young women.
