Warakirri College is seeking an outstanding and innovative leader to oversee the existing Campbelltown Campus. This role has become available through expansion of an additional Campus.

<p><b>Head of Campus</b></p><p>Campbelltown location</p><p>Full-time permanent position </p><p>Warakirri College is seeking an outstanding and innovative leader to oversee the Campbelltown Campus in the Head of Campus role! </p><p>About the College </p><p>Warakirri College is a highly regarded independent school operating across three campuses in Western and South-Western Sydney. Warakirri College offers Year 10 and HSC courses to young people aged 15 to 22 who have disconnected from mainstream educational pathways, but who now want to complete their education in a safe and inclusive context with very small classes, a flexible learning environment and a happy team of dedicated professionals. The College caters for around 350 students across the three campuses and is fully funded by State and Federal governments. </p><p>With the opening of a fourth campus in October 2022, the College requires an additional member of the Executive Team. </p><p>About the Role </p><p>The College is seeking a Head of Campus, Campbelltown, to commence in Term 4, 2022. </p><p>The Head of Campus oversees the day to day operations of the campus including enrolments, student welfare and discipline, and supports the management of campus staff, resources and facilities. They are a member of the College’s Executive Team and are therefore responsible for implementing strategic initiatives consistent with the College’s Strategic Plan. </p><p>Essential Selection Criteria </p><p>A recognised qualification in teaching and current NESA teaching accreditation at a proficient level or above </p><p>A minimum of 5 years experience working in a school setting in a teaching or student welfare role </p><p>Minimum two years of leadership experience in a school or other setting </p><p>Ability to effectively work in a learning environment with young people who have faced social or emotional challenges </p><p>Possess outstanding problem-solving skills, flexibility and foresight to anticipate, prioritise and resolve issues in line with College requirements and student needs </p><p>Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure and/or opposition (such as time pressure or challenging situations) </p><p>Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability in student pastoral care and the development and implementation of behaviour management processes, as well as the resolution of conflict with parents, staff and colleagues. </p><p>How to Apply </p><p>Please email your resume and a cover letter addressing the essential criteria to <b>recruitment&#64;warakirricollege.nsw.edu.au </b></p><p>Warakirri College takes all reasonable measures to protect the safety and wellbeing of children and other vulnerable communities.
