Fixed Term Part Time Accounts Payable Position - Term 3 2022

<p><b>About the role</b><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>This position is a part-time (0.6FTE) Fixed Term position is for Term 3 only. It is envisaged that the Accounts Payable Officer will have responsibility for the accounts payable function at Loreto College, ensuring that suppliers are paid in a timely manner. The Finance Officer will also support other members of the Finance Team in the day to day financial functions of the College. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key areas of responsibility include:</b></p><p><br /></p><p>Processing accounts payable transactions.</p><p>Daily banking and bank reconciliations.</p><p>Petty Cash and Credit Card payments &amp; reconciliations</p><p>Assisting with all aspects of accounts receivable.</p><p>Assisting with statutory and other financial returns and reports.</p><p>Maintaining key register.</p><p>Record Vehicle and Bus bookings.</p><p>Data Entry &amp; Filing</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Skills and experience:</b></p><p><br /></p><p><i><b>Essential</b></i></p><p><br /></p><p>Willingness to embrace Catholic Education and support the College’s philosophy, mission and goals.</p><p>Experience in financial systems and software including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.</p><p>Experience in general administration and proven ability to contribute to administrative reform.</p><p>Understanding of practices and regulations impacting on personnel and payroll.</p><p>Understanding of Electronic Banking Procedures &amp; Processes</p><p>Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and deliver timely and accurate outputs.</p><p>Sound interpersonal and verbal communication skills.</p><p>Relevant ICT skills, including a knowledge of Microsoft Word &amp; Excel.</p><p>Flexibility, ability and willingness to work openly as part of a small Finance Team and also part of a larger Education Support Team</p><p>A valid Working With Children Check and Police Check &amp; COVID-19 Vaccination </p><p><br /></p><p><b><i>Desirable</i></b></p><p><br /></p><p>Accounting qualifications</p><p>Experience in an education setting</p><p><br /></p><p><b>To apply</b></p><p><br /></p><p>Applications close on Wednesday June 22nd 2022</p><p><br /></p><p>Please email a cover letter outlining reasons for your interest in this position, resume and completed application form to hr&#64;loreto.vic.edu.au</p><p><br /></p><p>The position description and application forms are available at www.loreto.vic.edu.au/employment</p><p><br /></p><p>The Loreto College community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
