We're looking for a Technical Support Officer to join the team on a permanent full-time basis at Catherine McAuley Westmead.

More specifically you will:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Respond to requests to resolve level two network and systems issues</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Participate in the deployment and delivery of various information technology projects</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Audit, maintain and document the network, systems and services</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide technical direction for software upgrades, licensing, backup recovery, virus protection, printing systems, server maintenance procedures and network security</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support to those within the team to effectively deliver the teams identified strategy and as such assist with the support, delivery and coordination of the service functions</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Other tasks as delegated by the Head, ICT Services</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Postsecondary qualifications in the area of Information Technology</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Relevant professional certifications i.e. ITIL, CCNA</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrated experience in a similar position, within the education sector desirable</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">The ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">The ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong planning and organisation skills</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">We believe that our employee community is a key strength of our organisation and we aim to attract the best talent to achieve our strategic goal of being leaders in quality, faith-based education and an Employer of Choice in our sector.
