Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 20,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.

CEDoW’s Catholic Education Office and its 38 Catholic schools constitute the system of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wollongong. Core to its Mission is CEDoW’s commitment to create vibrant Catholic school communities where every student finds meaning and purpose in their lives through experiencing continual growth in faith and improvement in learning.</p> <p>Launching the search for its inaugural Deputy Director, CEDoW invites interest from Australia’s executive education leadership community to explore this notable opportunity to lead the commitment to the improvement of the learning and wellbeing agenda for this growing and thriving Catholic education system.</p> <p>The Deputy Director works in collaboration with school leaders on the implementation of a Catholic School Improvement Agenda and <em>Lighting the Way 2023+</em> Strategic plan initiatives to deliver growth in student learning, wellbeing and faith in Catholic education across our 38 schools.</p> <p>Building and leading a highly impactful team focused on learning and wellbeing consisting of Heads of Continuous Catholic School Improvement, as well as the Head of Wellbeing and Heads of Learning, this opportunity demands a true Catholic leader committed to supporting the Mission of the Catholic Church in education.</p> <p>You’ll be a resilient and highly inspired leader committed to working and thinking strategically and systematically to transform schools/systems. Using your deep expertise in school education and proven capability to make a measurable difference in student outcomes in learning and wellbeing, your expert knowledge of contemporary research in the K-12 education landscape is invaluable.&nbsp; Postgraduate qualifications in education leadership or equivalent are essential.</p> <p>This opportunity calls for someone who is able and ready to demonstrate the CEDoW values of hope, compassion, justice and integrity throughout service delivery and decisions.
