<p>St Clare’s College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Learning Support Officer. This is a full time ongoing position, commencing Term 3 2022. </p><p><b>About the role:</b></p><p>The role of Learning Support Officer is to assist in the provision of education and pastoral care for students from Years 7 to 12 with a wide range of learning abilities. The Learning Support Officer works collaboratively with the Leader of Diverse Learning. As a member of St Clare&#39;s College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Franciscan tradition.  </p><p><b>Key Selection criteria:</b></p><p>The successful candidate will be able to;</p><ul><li>Demonstrate experience implementing adjustments for students with a range of diverse learning needs to enhance learning growth across all KLAs. </li><li>Collaboratively and collegially work as a member of the Diverse Learning team.</li><li>Provide in class support to students who have a mild to moderate cognitive disability.</li><li>Collect data and evidence to support NCCD requirements and an understanding of relevant legislation (DDA, DSE). </li><li>Use Catholic Schools NSW PPSD profiles is an advantage.</li><li>Administer one on one and small group interventions to students with a diverse range of learning abilities.</li><li>Administer a range of standardised assessments. </li><li>Maintain school based data and records upholding confidentiality.</li><li>Use and integrate technology across a wide range of administrative and curriculum applications. into everyday learning and planning.</li></ul><p><b>Formal Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Qualifications and/or experience as a Learning Support Officer/Teacher’s Aide is essential</li><li>Experience working in Science and Mathematics is an advantage</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>How to Apply:</b></p><p>To apply please click &#34;Apply for Job&#34; and submit the following, addressed to the College Principal, Mrs Kerrie McDiarmid</p><ol><li>Covering letter which will reflect the above criteria;</li><li>Resume outlining qualifications and experience</li><li>Three referees including name and contact details.</li></ol><p><u>Please note: Interviews may commence prior to the closing date</u></p><p><b>Applications close: 18 July 2022</b><br /></p><p><b>Position commences: Term 3 2022</b></p><p><i>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
