The College also has a gymnasium, chapel, and sports ovals, along with new and modern facilities for Technologies, Science and Arts. </p><p>Good News Lutheran College aims to provide an educational pathway for each student by focusing on strong Christian values. Staff are expected to be engaged and contribute in leading of devotion when asked to serve and specifically lead class devotions in pastoral care on days where students do not attend chapel or assembly. </p><p>The College has grown significantly from a small group of 24 students who commenced in 1997, to its first Year 12s graduating at the end of 2016, and the 1000&#43; students on campus today. </p><p><b>About the Roles: </b></p><p><b>Good News Lutheran College are seeking applications for the below roles for 2023 onwards on ongoing and fixed term contracts: </b></p><p><b>Heads of Departments for the below faculties: </b></p><p>Christian Studies </p><p>Maths </p><p>English </p><p>Humanities </p><p>VCE Coordinator </p><p>Assistant Head of Senior Years </p><p>Assistant Head of Middle Years </p><p>Digital Learning Leader </p><p>Health and Physical Education</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Classroom Teacher roles:</b></p><p>Classroom Teacher, Maths </p><p>Classroom Teacher, Science </p><p>Design Technology, Teacher </p><p>Classroom Teacher, English </p><p>Classroom Teacher, Humanities </p><p>Physical Education Teacher </p><p>Christian Studies Teacher </p><p><b>Selection Criteria:</b></p><p>Prior experience in a similar role </p><p>Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College </p><p>Have excellent relationship and communication skills </p><p>Relevant qualifications </p><p>Special requirements </p><p>Selected applicants will need to go through background and other regulatory checks. </p><p><b>The Recruitment Process:</b></p><p>All applications will go through a shortlisting stage, after which all suitable applications will be progressed to the interview stage.
