The College seeks to engage students in a process of learning that promotes confident, creative, inquiring, and successful learners. A dynamic and supportive team of Heads of Department and experienced staff along with a strong focus on professional learning makes Brigidine a workplace of choice. </p><p> </p><p><b>About the Role</b><br /></p><p>The College is seeking a permanent, full-time <b>Director Staff to commence in 2023</b> who will lead and manage staff, continuing to encourage a culture of excellence that fosters best practice. </p><p>As a member of the Leadership Team, the Director Staff will have professional and personal attributes that influence others to develop and improve and will create an environment of trust, collegiality and collaboration. </p><p>The successful applicant will have </p><p>• experience, ideally within an educational setting, to be able to guide both teaching and support staff in their development and professional practices </p><p>• an understanding of the positive impact of appraisal and reflection and the alignment of professional learning goals for staff </p><p>• an understanding of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to allow them to mentor teachers through their accreditation processes </p><p>• a strong sense of the importance of risk management in areas relevant to this position and be able to lead others in risk and compliance </p><p>• appropriate tertiary qualifications, relevant professional learning and/or experience in areas of human resources, including recruitment and employment relationships, and risk and compliance. </p><p> </p><p><b> Applying</b><br /></p><p>A Position Description is available on the College website <a href="http://www.brigidine.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.brigidine.nsw.edu.au</a> and enquiries may be made to the current Director Staff, Liz May at <a href="mailto:lmay&#64;brigidine.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">lmay&#64;brigidine.nsw.edu.au</a> </p><p>• A WWCC is required </p><p>• NESA accreditation (if a teacher) is required </p><p>• All staff at Brigidine College are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 </p><p>• Applicants must have the citizenship/residential/visa right to work in Australia </p><p>Applications should address the criteria and key elements for the position by including a covering letter, qualifications, detailed Curriculum Vitae, the names and contact details of three referees and all regulatory requirements.
