<p><b>The School</b></p><p>Ravenswood is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. It is a school where staff enjoy a range of benefits that foster health and wellbeing, and students achieve outstanding academic success supported by innovative teaching practices that are underpinned by a whole school approach to Positive Education. </p><p><b>The Role</b></p><p>We are seeking a motivated, experienced registered Psychologist to join our Wellbeing Team in a permanent 3 days a week capacity during term time. You will work with our Psychologists, Year Coordinators, Head of Senior School and the Deputy Principal: Wellbeing, Boarding and Development, to support our students, parents, and teachers. </p><p>Our Psychologists are key members of the Wellbeing Team and provide counselling support to our students. </p><p>Essential criteria: </p><ul><li>Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA; </li><li>Experience with CBT as well as a strong interest in positive psychology and related therapies; </li><li>Familiarity with trauma informed interventions</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;</li><li>Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice; </li><li>Experience in providing quality evidence-based services for children, adolescents, and their parents. </li></ul><p>Desirable criteria: </p><ul><li>Experience working with groups; </li><li>Experience in staff training; </li><li>Experience working with children and adolescents aged 5-18 years; </li><li>Experience working in schools </li><li>Endorsement in clinical or educational psychology is desirable; </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years working as a psychologist. </li></ul><p>Additional Skills/Requirements: </p><ul><li>Strong understanding/ experience working with young people and families of diverse cultural backgrounds; </li><li>Ability to work with children and adolescents with disabilities or learning needs; </li><li>Ability to administer and report psychometric assessment such as the WISC, WAIS and WIAT; </li><li>Understanding of child protection legislation and guidelines as it applies to schools; </li><li>Tertiary qualifications in Psychology; </li><li>Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA); </li><li>Eligibility for registration with Australian Psychological Society (APS). </li></ul><p><b>To Apply: </b></p><p>Please include a cover letter addressing the selection criteria, additional skills and requirements along with your resume. </p><p>Ravenswood will begin to review applications prior to the application closure date.
