<p>At Emmaus we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. </p><p> </p><p>Applicants will believe in growing the whole child - academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.</p><p> </p><p>The applicant would be well supported by a passionate, dynamic teaching team. The year 4 classes are small with about 22 enthusiastic learners in each class. <br /></p><p>This full time teaching role would suit applicants who are risk takers, creative, open to new learning and willing to share their knowledge and pedagogy with others. Full time teachers at Emmaus, engage in four days of face to face teaching and participate in one day of facilitated and personal planning a week. </p><p>In addition, successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching and an ability to live the school&#39;s vision</li><li>commitment to the Emmaus Child Safe Policy and the Staff Code of Conduct (both can be found on our website)</li></ul><p>Special Requirements </p><ul><li>accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is preferred but not necessary</li><li>current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration</li><li>please include at least 3 referees - one being your current Principal</li></ul>
