Maternity relief position, from 15 August 2022 to 21 June 2023 (End of Term 2, 2023), for a Music Teacher willing to join our friendly, talented and dedicated teaching team.

This position requires an educator who is passionate about sharing knowledge in a way that motivates and inspires students to realise their potential.</p><p>The Music Teacher is responsible for managing student learning within the faculty. In addition, you will be responsible for the organisation of student musical performances, which represents an exciting opportunity to showcase the School and positively contribute to the student experience offered at NEGS. </p><p><b> Selection Criteria: </b></p><p><b>Required: </b></p><p>• A Bachelor of Education in Secondary Music or a degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma, or Masters, of Education. </p><p>• Current Teachers Accreditation with the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA). </p><p>• Hold, or ability to obtain, a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) number. </p><p>• Demonstrated knowledge of the Secondary Music curriculums. </p><p>• Willingness to be involved in the co-curricular program of the School. </p><p>• Outstanding people skills. </p><p>• Possess a drive to achieve the best outcomes for students, parents and the School. </p><p>• Willingness to attend School events as an active member in the School community. </p><p>• Appreciation of the principles and practices of independent schools, in particular, boarding schools. </p><p><b>Preferred: </b></p><p>• Demonstrated experience in a in a similar position. </p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
