<p><i>St Joseph&#39;s is a Catholic Edmund Rice Education Australia Boys&#39; Secondary College, with an enrolment over 1840 students. There is particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with a disability.</i></p><p>The College is seeking a qualified Part Time Music Teacher (FTE 0.5-0.8) to join the St Joseph’s College Term 4 2022, 3 October 2022 in an ongoing capacity teaching woodwind classes. The applicant would ideally have experience teaching woodwind instruments in Performance Based Programmes at Year 7 and 8 level and directing ensembles. Piano skills would be an advantage. Graduate teachers encouraged to apply. </p><p>Teachers at St Joseph&#39;s College are employed to perform specific tasks as teachers of subjects and classroom administration. Each teacher brings one&#39;s own individuality to the job, and thus a plurality of teaching approaches naturally occurs. </p><p>Within the context of a large organisation there is the need for each teacher to be consistent in the application of school procedures and policies.
