Visual Arts Teacher

<p>Are you a teacher with a passion for a particular field of study? Are you looking for the perfect opportunity to share your talents with children?</p><p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Specialist Teacher to join our beautiful community at Corpus Christi School. The position is for two days per week commencing at the beginning of Term 3 and concluding at the end of the 2022 school year (with the possibility of an extension, for the right candidate). Days and times are as follows: </p><ul><li>Tuesday and Thursday -  9:00am-3:30pm </li></ul><p>The successful applicant must have a keen interest and skill in a Specialist field of study: The Arts (Performing, Visual Arts, Media Arts), STEM (Science &amp; Technology, Design and Construction), Food Technology and the like and be able to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>a commitment to Catholic Education and the well-being and safety of students </li><li>a commitment to the Child Safe policy of the school </li><li>the ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues</li><li>an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships </li><li>strong organisational and communication skills.</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will:</p><ul><li>Promote the chosen specialist field throughout the school</li><li>Plan and implement a P-6 Program across the school</li><li>Take each of our classes for a 45 minute or 1hour instructional lesson across the week</li><li>Plan, prepare and co-ordinate a bi-annual ‘showcase’ of student work</li><li>Maintain Displays </li></ul><p>The successful candidate must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</p><p>Applications should be made in writing, including the names of three referees and forwarded via email to the Principal: Mr Anthony Hyde at the address listed below.</p><p><a href="mailto:principal&#64;cckingsville.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">principal&#64;cckingsville.catholic.edu.au</a></p><p>This position may be filled prior to the closing date should a suitable candidate be found.</p><p>A role description is attached</p><p> </p><p> </p>
