The College is founded on Christian values and embodies care, challenge and achievement. </p><p>We seek a brass, string, woodwind, guitar,drum and piano instrumental tutor who will provide private instrumental tuition for students on campus and run ensembles and school performances.   </p><p></p><p> Please visit the College website to obtain the GBC Teacher Application Form. More information can be found on the college website, <a href="http://www.gbc.vic.edu.au." rel="nofollow">www.gbc.vic.edu.au.</a></p><p>JOB OVERVIEW </p><p>The candidate contributes to the provision of high quality instrumental tutoring in a professional and efficient manner, which will reflect the mission, vision and values of Geelong Baptist College. The successful candidate will support the objective of delivering private instrumental lessons to students and running lunchtime ensembles and school performances. </p><p>Private instrumental tutors are required to invoice families direct. Payment of wages is not completed through Geelong Baptist College Payroll. </p><p>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES </p><p>1. Maintain a current Working with Children Check and complete annual requirements required for complying with the College’s Child Safe Standards </p><p>2. Maintain and ensure a neat and well organised music space that is friendly and effective </p><p>3. Utilises excellent organization and administrative skills </p><p>4. Able to run lunchtime ensembles and school performances </p><p>TEACHING</p><p>1. Able to teach classical or jazz technique </p><p>2. Able to teach the reading and writing of music</p><p>DESIRABLE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE<br /></p><p>1. Works in and supports the Christian ethos of the College </p><p>2.
