We welcome applications from suitably qualified people of all ages, genders, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.</p> <p>MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for this full-time, fixed term role of <strong>Education Officer, Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on Students with Disability (NCCD SWD)</strong> until January 2024 based at our Head Office in East Melbourne.<br> <br> Working as part of a team, this role will be responsible for building the capacity of principals and school leaders to implement inclusive teaching practices and legislated responsibilities in the implementation of the NCCD model to meet the needs of students with cognitive, sensory, physical and social/emotional needs. This role will assist the General Manager, Learning Diversity in the coordination and implementation of specific purpose initiatives within financial guidelines, budget requirements and compliance responsibilities to appropriate Australian and State Governments with particular reference to the Disability Discrimination Act -Disability Standards for Education.<br> <br> Salary range for this position is $108,160 - $126,695 per annum according to the Education Officer salaries as set out in the <em><a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au/getmedia/e728ccbb-dac1-4822-9607-7c5cb8abdae9/VCEMEA_2013.aspx">Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018</a></em>. In addition to this, Education Officer Allowance 1 of $3,268 will be applicable, plus superannuation according to the <em>Superannuation Guarantee Legislation</em>.<br> <br> <strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> <br> The successful applicants will have a demonstrated understanding of state and national policies and curriculum in relation to inclusive teaching practices including Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), Response to Intervention and the universal design for learning to support the health, wellbeing, academic and/or behavioural needs of students. You will also have extensive experience in supporting leaders and teachers in schools in relation to legislated responsibilities and the implementation of the NCCD model.<br> <br> The successful candidate must hold or acquire a Working with Children Check, and must be willing to acquire a National Police Record Check.
