St Francis Xavier's College, Hamilton is seeking a permanent part time (30 hours per week) Senior School Officer – Registrar to join the College community. St Francis Xavier's College, Hamilton, is a comprehensive, co-educational Senior College catering to vibrant young adults across Years 11 and 12. Each member of the teaching staff brings with them skills and expertise in their delivery of the Stage 6 curriculum and the requirements of the Higher School Certificate, while also modelling faith in action by nurturing positive relationships between one another. As part of the current diocesan vision for secondary schooling St Francis Xavier’s College will be transitioning to become a Year 7 to 12 co-educational school by 2027. <p> The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect. The role of the Senior School Officer requires: <br>• management of enrolment processes, procedures and student records <br>• integration, cross matching and checking the integrity of data across a various of data bases <br>• development of effective workplace relationships with teaching staff <br>• effective coordination of daily work distribution for administration staff, to ensure that duties are accomplished in a time effective manner <br>• knowledge and experience with databases such as Compass and Edval <br>• uploading and checking of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) data <br>• organisation and preparation of relevant archive material <br>• supervision and organisation of Census Data </p> <h3>Essential Criteria:</h3> <p> • Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively support the Catholic ethos of the school <br>• Minimum of Certificate III in Business Administration, Office Management or equivalent <br>• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Student Information Systems <br>• Demonstrated ability to work in an environment with competing demands, interruptions and where tasks need to be prioritised <br>• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member, with the capacity to build and maintain effective relationships amongst staff <br>• Personal qualities such as loyalty, flexibility, initiative and resourcefulness and capacity and commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality <br>• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy <br>• Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy. Category A – Accreditation to Teach (School Support Staff, CSO Administration Staff, CSO Professional Officers) The applicant must provide evidence of the following: <br>• Current Working with Children Check number (must be recorded on application) <br>• Completion of Anaphylaxis training </p> <h3>Desirable Criteria:</h3> <p> • Demonstrated capacity in a similar role <br>• Previous experience in a school environment </p> <h3>Renumeration:</h3> <p> Salary is in accordance with New South Wales &amp; Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.
