St Joseph’s Primary School in Culcairn are looking for an energetic, passionate, suitably qualified teacher to undertake a Maternity Leave Replacement part-time position!

Can be negotiated with a successful applicant)</li><li>Access to Salary Packaging (Maxxia is our Salary Packaging Provider). </li></ul><p><b>Your new role: </b></p><p>The classroom teacher is the major in-school influence on student achievement and plays the key role of facilitating effective learning and teaching. The first function of the classroom teacher is to be an effective member of a collaborative team of colleagues who work to put student learning and wellbeing first. </p><p><b>About Culcairn: </b></p><p>Known as the oasis of the Riverina, Culcairn is a beautiful town in The Murray, adorned with tree-lined streets, pretty parks and heritage-listed buildings. Head along to a traditional rural show, discover colonial heritage and bushranger tales, and enjoy cycling, nature and golf. </p><p>Welcome to Culcairn, to find out more click <a href="https://www.visitnsw.com/destinations/country-nsw/the-murray/culcairn" rel="nofollow">here</a>. </p><p><b>What you will need to succeed (Selection Criteria): </b></p><ul><li>An understanding of and commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education. </li><li>Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Wagga Diocese (or willingness to obtain). </li><li>An effective classroom practitioner with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, contemporary pedagogy and the use of digital technologies. </li><li>Effective classroom practitioner with a demonstrated understanding of differentiated learning and effective behaviour management strategies that promote a positive classroom environment. </li><li>Experience in using data to inform learning and teaching to improve student learning outcomes. </li><li>An effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. </li><li>Other qualities or skills which could be brought to St Joseph’s Primary School.</li><li>Able to meet current Covid-19 vaccination requirements </li><li>Current Working with Children Check</li></ul><p>St Joseph’s Culcairn is a vibrant learning community with a unified and dedicated staff committed to providing our students with quality teaching and learning experiences.
