This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and a highly skilled educator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. </p><p><b>About Georges River Grammar </b></p><p>Georges River Grammar is a leading independent co-educational non-selective Kindergarten to Year 12, day school in the Anglican Tradition. Located in Georges Hall, the Primary School commenced in 1984 as St. Paul’s Choir School, Bankstown. The Secondary School came into existence as Bankstown Grammar School in 1988. After amalgamating in 1991 under the name of Bankstown Grammar School, the ‘new’ School was renamed Georges River Grammar in 2011. </p><p>The School’s Strategic Vision has set us on a journey exploring New Pedagogies for Deep Learning. The School endeavours to raise students who are inspired in their learning and committed to serve the community. Therefore, leadership and service programs are at the heart of student and community life at Georges River Grammar. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Student Wellbeing and Directors of Teaching &amp; Learning, the Head of Learning Support &amp; Enrichment manages the Learning Support &amp; Enrichment Team and facilitates a whole school commitment to the inclusion of students with additional learning needs. </p><p><b>Selection Criteria </b></p><ul><li>Provide Leadership and guidance to all members of the Learning Support &amp; Enrichment team </li><li>Tertiary level qualification in Education. Postgraduate level qualifications in Education and/or Education Management would be an advantage </li><li>Proven interpersonal skills and the willingness and ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students </li><li>Ability to contribute as a member of the middle management Team and support the School’s Strategic direction </li><li>Ability to demonstrate strong personal motivation, creativity, and a willingness to accept responsibility </li><li>Knowledge of current trends in student wellbeing, and education generally </li><li>Demonstrated innovative practice, lateral thinking, use of initiative and the ability to anticipate the needs of the School </li><li>Exceptional capacity to relate to other professionals and work in a variety of different team settings </li><li>High level judgement and the capacity to respond independently and decisively </li><li>Ability to act with initiative </li><li>High level time-management skills </li><li>The ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects </li><li>Highly developed executive functioning and interpersonal skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><b>The Successful candidate will be rewarded with</b></p><ul><li>A strong focus on professional growth and development </li><li>Discounted School Fees </li><li>Onsite parking </li><li>An inclusive and collaborative approach </li><li>An engaging, creative, and welcoming environment to learners who take pride in their school. </li></ul><p>A role description for this position can be found as an attachment.</p><p>You are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible as the advertising closing date is indicative only.
