The prime purpose of this role is to contribute to the development and continual improvement of governance, risk and compliance policies, procedures and functions relevant to Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL).

The rewarding nature of the work and the opportunities for both personal and professional growth will ensure that you remain stimulated and engaged in your role. </p><h4>About the Role </h4><p>DOSCEL is seeking a Compliance and Risk Support Officer who is passionate about strategising and continuously improving business operations in order to give back to the community. </p><p>Reporting to the Director of Catholic Education/Chief Executive Officer through the Executive Manager: Industrial Relations/Human Resources as the Compliance and Risk Support Officer you will contribute to the development and continual improvement of governance, risk and compliance policies, procedures and functions relevant to DOSCEL. </p><h4>About You </h4><p>As the Compliance and Risk Support Officer, you will demonstrate the key selection criteria outlined in the Position Description, including but not limited to: </p><p>• A commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic education. </p><p>• A demonstrated commitment to and understanding of child protection and child safety issues in schools. </p><p>• Strong interpersonal skills including: </p><ul><li>ability to work as part of a team to achieve both individual and team objectives </li><li>communication, process management and problem-solving skills </li><li>demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. </li></ul><p>• Experience in policy review and risk control measures with strong attention to detail. </p><p>• Knowledge of compliance and risk frameworks. </p><p>• Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. </p><p>• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including principals, school leaders and school staff. </p><p>• Ability to operate effectively and balance a range of priorities and expectations for competing deadlines. </p><p>The successful applicant will also hold appropriate COVID-19 Vaccination Information to be collected, recorded and held by DOSCEL. </p><h4>How to Apply </h4><p>For further information regarding this exciting opportunity, please forward your queries to Industrial Relations/Human Resources via email hr&#64;doscel.catholic.edu.au </p><p>For a copy of the position description and to apply, please visit <a href="https://www.ceosale.catholic.edu.au/work-with-us/positions-vacant" rel="nofollow">DOSCEL website.</a> Applications must include a Cover Letter, a completed Application Form, response to the key selection criteria outlined in the position description and current resume. </p><p><b>Applications close on Monday 6 June 2022 at 4.00 pm. </b></p><p><i>DOSCEL is an equal opportunity employer.
