Permanent/Ongoing Full-time (76 hours per fortnight 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday) Commencing 30 May 2022 (negotiable)

<div><br /></div> <p>This position supports the College Business Manager in the payment of accounts, collection of fees, bursary administration, family contact and assistance, and other finance and administrative duties as needed.</p><p>The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively in person, over the telephone and in writing. As well, the ability to be direct in communication whilst offering support, empathy and a very high level of discretion is required.</p><p>This position involves working with and assisting families of diverse language backgrounds.</p><p>This role is a leadership position which supports the office and is directly accountable to the Business Manager.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>CIA and Compass experience</li><li>Experience in processing orders and invoices</li><li>Debtor administration</li><li>Assistance with end of year finance tasks</li><li>Demonstrated experience with financial systems/management</li><li>Previous experience in a senior leadership financial or administrative role in a school environment</li><li>Ability to work unsupervised with limited direction</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team</li><li>Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to be flexible in a complex environment</li><li>Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Possess a strong work ethic</li><li>The capacity to step into other roles as required</li><li>Can capacity build members of the office staff</li></ul><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in an equivalent or similar role.</li><li>Proficiency in the use of IT-based systems for stock ordering and calendar management.</li><li>Current First Aid qualifications.<br /></li><li>The successful applicant must be committed to the full range of College activities.</li><li>A commitment to the Catholic ethos of our school is essential.</li></ul><p><b>Working with Children Check (WWCC)</b></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</p><p><b>COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence</b></p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
