You will have demonstrated experience as a multi skilled facilities officer and enthusiastically contribute to the cleaning, maintence and upkeep of our pristine grounds, gardens and outdoor spaces.</p><p>With your experience as an Electrician or similar you will: </p><ul><li>Attend to all electrical maintenance requests, repairs or faults in a timely manner </li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical equipment throughout the college, and </li><li>Provide advice on electrical safety and contribute where required to project work. </li></ul><p>If you are an experienced Builder or Carpenter you will: </p><ul><li>Have experience in assembling structures and buildings </li><li>Be able to undertake meticulous repair and maintenance works to both heritage and recently-built buildings and </li><li>Attend to all maintenance requests, provide advice and facilitate growth projects. </li></ul><p>If you are an experienced Cleaner you will: </p><ul><li>Have experience working in a large institution or contract cleaning company, adhering to extremely strict cleaning schedules and standards. </li></ul><p>In addition to your area of expertise your duties will include: </p><ul><li>Completing general maintenance around the College including, traffic management, waste management and general tidying on a daily basis </li><li>Manual handling such as setting up rooms for a multitude of functions, ie. moving furniture and setting up equipment </li><li>Operating various plant and equipment to complete your daily duties, and </li><li>Contributing to other property and facilities team priorities where required. </li></ul><p>About you: </p><ul><li>Previous experience in either area of specialty are a must </li><li>Able to undertake manual handling on a daily basis, and </li><li>A current Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check. </li></ul><p>Applications close on Friday 3 June 2022 at 9am. </p><p>Please head to our website <a href="https://www.salesiansunbury.vic.edu.au/job/facilities-officer-grounds?1646018702" rel="nofollow">here</a> for position and application details.<br /></p><p><i>Salesian College Sunbury holds the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of children, including those with a disability as a central and fundamental responsibility of Catholic education.</i><br /></p>
