A part-time Library Technician - Study Supervision position is available at Mount Lilydale Mercy College for Term 3. This is a replacement position for Term 3 2022 only. The position is 4 days per week Tuesday - Friday.

<p><i><b>Applications are invited from suitably qualified, highly motivated Library Technicians to work within our Senior Library whilst being fully supportive of the ethos of a Catholic school in the Mercy tradition. </b></i></p><h4>Library Technician - Study Supervison </h4><p><br /></p><p>A part-time Library Technician - Study Supervision position is available at Mount Lilydale Mercy College for Term 3. This is a replacement position for Term 3 2022 only. The position is 4 days per week Tuesday - Friday.<br /></p><p><b>Founded in 1896, Mount Lilydale Mercy College is a Catholic Co-educational 7-12 College in the outer eastern suburbs catering for the needs of 1500 students within an environment of care based on Gospel values. </b></p><p>The successful applicant will be skilled in a variety of areas and programs enabling them to provide assistance to both staff and students at the College. </p><p><b>Responsibility </b></p><ul><li>To undertake duties that lead to the successful operation of the libraries for both staff and students. </li></ul><p><b>Key Tasks Associated with this Role include: </b></p><ul><li>To provide support and assistance to staff and students in the maintenance of a curriculum based resource collection both in print and online </li><li>Supervise the Year 11 and 12 students and a small number of Year 10 students during their private study periods. </li><li>Record student attendance at private study sessions on Simon. </li><li>Ensure a quiet environment in which all students are able to work uninterrupted </li><li>To assist staff and students where required </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Principal </li></ul><p><b>Attributes: </b></p><ul><li>Initiative </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Strong technology skills across all programs operating at the College including, but not limited to Microsoft Office, GAFE </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>The ability to communicate with both staff and students </li><li>Time management and the ability to prioritise and multitask where required </li><li>Work autonomously and as a member of a team </li></ul><p>The successful applicant will need to have: </p><ul><li>Outstanding attention to detail </li><li>An energetic and motivated attitude, with the ability to show initiative </li><li>Time management and the ability to prioritise and multitask where required </li><li>Active commitment to Christian Faith </li><li>A current Working with Children Check </li><li>A current National Police Check </li></ul><p><i><b>It is a condition of employment that all staff working in the Education industry must provide evidence of their COVID-19 Vaccination status. </b></i></p><p><b>All Applications are required to be lodged on the Official Application Form found at</b> <a href="https://www.mlmc.vic.edu.au/about-us/employment." rel="nofollow">https://www.mlmc.vic.edu.au/about-us/employment.</a> </p><p>All applications should enclose a Curriculum Vitae.
