The school's Directors seek a suitably qualified and experienced person to be the Principal, commencing 2023.

<p>Saint Mary MacKillop Colleges Limited (SMMC) seeks to participate in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the formation of students, with special emphasis given to their spiritual, intellectual, social and physical growth. </p><p>The K-12 school was founded in 2007 by Joanne and Bill Andrews as an independent school in the Catholic tradition. Located in Wagga Wagga (NSW), this school seeks to form students as candidates for Heaven, each one loved and respected as a unique person - truly a child of God. To this end we train the students to seek what is true, good and beautiful, educating them in an atmosphere of Catholic culture where the Christian Faith is taught in its fulness, the life of virtue seriously pursued, and academic excellence promoted as a true and great human value. </p><p>One of the school’s many strengths is the fact that its current enrolment is under 200 students, which gives staff a unique opportunity to focus on care for the individual person, and pursue academic excellence. The school has consistently achieved outstanding NAPLAN results over the years. </p><p>The school welcomes applications from suitably qualified persons, who meet the following criteria: </p><p>Applicants must:</p><ul><li>hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check</li><li>be accredited with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA). </li></ul><p>Selection Criteria: </p><p>The successful applicant will - </p><ul><li>possess a personal faith that is practical, and grounded in Church teaching and discipline;</li><li>be person of integrity, endowed with virtue; </li><li>have relevant teaching experience and tertiary qualifications; </li><li>broad experience in leading students and staff; </li><li>demonstrated high levels of organisation, communication and problem solving skills; </li><li>experience in leading initiatives that focus on improving wellbeing, engagement and learning outcomes for all students; </li><li>demonstrated an ability to lead processes to improve student performance; and</li><li>demonstrated an ability to create and maintain inclusive, supportive and safe learning environments. </li></ul><p>Your application should address the above criteria.
