Christ the Priest is seeking a dedicated teacher to work as a teacher within a team environment. With three classes in each year level, teachers work and plan closely together through facilitated fortnightly planning sessions. Christ the Priest students and staff use Google Education Suite for learning and planning. Graduates are welcome to apply.

<p>Christ the Priest (CtP) Catholic Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p><p>The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner, familiar with the Victorian Curriculum, who is able to collaborate with others as part of a team working towards improving learning outcomes for all students in their care. A passion for teaching and an understanding of learning in a contemporary environment is essential.</p><p><b><u> Selection Criteria: </u></b></p><p>1. Be faith-filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students </p><p>2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents </p><p>3. Strong behaviour management practices that align with a Positive Behviour Learning approach. </p><p>4. Ability to work collegially and flexibly with fellow teachers, lead teacher and leaders.</p><p>5. Ability to adapt to established and developing learning and teaching structures and pedagogical approaches.</p><p><b><u>Special Requirements</u></b></p><p> -accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable (although not required).</p><p>-be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices </p><p>-have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safety Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy</p><p>-have read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the &#39;Principles Regarding Catholic Education&#39;</p><p>-hold a current VIT registration</p><p>-only applications which include the attached application form will be considered</p><p>The school is captured by the Pandemic COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Specified Facilities) Order 2022 (No. 2) under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008. All employees of the school will need to meet the requirements of the order as a condition of employment.</p><p>Please note, that an appointment may be made prior to the closing date if a suitable applicant has been identified fulfilling the requirements of the school and the position.</p><p>The 0.5 time allocation for the position comprises Tuesday-Thursday (Week A) and Tuesday-Wednesday (Week B). This may be negotiable.</p>
