<p>A Learning Support Officer (LSO) supports our students and teachers. The position involves working within a classroom assisting students with their learning needs.The LSO works under the direction of the Teacher and the Learning Support Coordinator. The students which they are assisting usually have a diagnosis e.g. Autism or Expressive Language Disorder, however can work across the classroom as well. Suitable qualifications are an advantage but not necessary. The candidate needs be very confidential, patient, respectful and have a positive attitude.
