The preferred candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and be able to deliver a curriculum that caters for the EALD learner to develop their language proficiency.</p><p>You will be responsible for providing effective learning programs for EALD students, and as such, you are a role model personally and professionally. The Selection Criteria for the EALD Teacher position require the applicant to explain, and provide examples if relevant, of:</p><ul><li>their understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic Church</li><li>effective skills in working with small groups of students, including EALD students</li><li>exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies</li><li>excellent skills in collaboration with teachers across KLAs</li><li>effective communication skills with students, staff and parents</li><li>a proven ability to work collegially within a faculty</li><li>a commitment to growing the College&#39;s culture of learning and thinking</li></ul><p><b>Working with Children Check (WWCC)</b></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</p><p><b>COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence</b></p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
