Sha Tin Junior School is looking for a PYP Coordinator (TLR 2) to join the community this January 2023. The successful candidate collaborates with the leadership team in executing the school's curricular improvement plans.

<p><b>Job Description </b></p><p>Sha Tin Junior School is seeking to appoint a PYP Coordinator commencing from January 2023. The position will be on a full-time contract from January 2023 to August 2024, renewable by mutual consent. See <a href="https://www.esf.edu.hk/terms-and-conditions/" rel="nofollow">ESF Terms and Conditions</a> for further details of the package. </p><p><b>TLR 2 - Curriculum (PYP) Coordinator: </b></p><ul><li>To lead the Primary Years Programme (PYP) throughout the school and the associated transitions </li><li>To actively lead and monitor curriculum development across the school </li><li>To support collaboration across the school, and support planning and professional learning </li><li>To support the moderation of the curriculum </li><li>Enable professional learning through collaboration and self-evaluation </li><li>To coach and mentor colleagues </li><li>To participate in SJS and other ESF validated self-evaluation (VSE) processes </li><li>To take an active lead in the IBO evaluation process </li><li>To help support recommendations for and organisation of professional learning </li></ul><p><b>Specific Coordination Roles </b></p><ul><li>Understanding of the IB/PYP and inquiry-based learning </li><li>Understand the needs of young students </li><li>Coordinate, lead and develop the IB curriculum </li><li>Review the IB evaluation processes </li><li>Support the development of specific IB Programme Development Plans </li><li>Support the strategic direction of the school as directed by the Principal </li><li>Lead whole school professional learning opportunities </li><li>Contribute to the School Development Plan </li></ul><p><b>Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Education, or </li><li>Bachelor Degree in any subjects with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent </li><li>Evidence of further professional study eg.
