We are now seeking application for a passionate, committed and service-centred Junior School Band TA who has the necessary skills, energy and talents to be part of a growing school.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>The role will be as an assistant to the Band tutor in the teaching and guidance of Year 5 and 6 students in a classroom brass, woodwind and percussion band setting including assisting with the following:</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>• Teaching instrumental skills across a range of instruments </div><div>• Coordinating sessions with the lead tutor </div><div>• Developing and growing a program to engage students in Year 5 and 6 </div><div>• Preparing an end of semester showcase for parents </div><div>• Promoting the program to younger grades through in-class performances </div><div>• Future development of a concert band for Year 7 and above</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>There is opportunity to teach individual lessons at LORDS to increase hours. These sessions are paid directly from the parents but supported by the school during regular school hours.
