<p>St Patrick&#39;s College is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly skilled Religious Education teacher with excellent communication skills and classroom experience.</p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to the Catholic ethos of the College and utilise effective learning and teaching strategies and technologies to enhance 21st century pedagogy.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria</b></p><ul><li>RE qualifications</li><li>an ability to create a culture of excellence and high expectation through positive support of student environment</li><li>a sound understanding of current educational research and learning styles, including learning technologies</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices</li><li>A commitment to academic excellence</li><li>An understanding of and ability to differentiate curriculum and assessment</li><li>High level communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to critically reflect on their own teaching practice</li><li>A willingness to be involved in the College&#39;s co-curricular activities</li><li>The successful applicant will require a Parish Priest reference</li></ul><p>Applicants for the above position should provide their curriculum vitae as well as a written response to the essential and desirable criteria to principal&#64;spcsutherland.catholic.edu.au.
