<p>Mount St Joseph Milperra is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly skilled English Teacher with excellent communication skills and classroom experience.   </p><p>The successful applicant will be committed to the Catholic ethos of the school and utilise effective learning and teaching strategies and technologies to enhance 21st-century pedagogy. </p><p>Essential Criteria:</p><ul><li>Experience in teaching English </li><li>Be able to create a culture of excellence and high expectation through positive support of the student environment</li><li>Have a  sound understanding of current educational research and learning styles, including learning technologies </li><li>An enthusiasm for working in a collaborative learning environment with demonstrated skills as a passionate educator with evidence of pedagogical innovation</li><li>A willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities within the school<br /></li><li>Able to demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning<br /></li><li>Have the capacity to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff.<br /></li><li>Teachers should be committed to the Catholic ethos of the College, to authentic, effective, innovative teaching and learning strategies, and committed to the pastoral care of all members of the community.</li><li>A Working With Children Check will need to be completed upon appointment. Employment will be conditional upon successful attainment of the WWCC. This process will include an application for Registration to teach in Sydney Catholic Schools.<br /></li><li>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
