The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning.</p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p>As part of reimagining the Evangelisation and Catechesis Workstream at Catholic Schools Broken Bay, we will have a number of roles currently advertised.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>The Role</b></p><p>Reporting to the Senior Lead: Evangelisation, we are seeking a Learning Partner - Youth Ministry and Outreach Partnerships who will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and support youth ministry programs to enhance opportunities for Evangelisation among employees, staff and students. As part of this role, you will be the CSBB’s Coordinator for Catholic Schools Youth Ministry Australia (CSYMA). This role maintains a close connection between RE and Youth Ministry in action in CSBB schools by supporting RECs and Youth Ministry Coordinators. As a credible and gifted communicator, you will continue to leverage existing relationships and networks in schools and parishes to support CSBB’s Towards 2025 vision and purpose.</p><p>Key role responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Works closely with key stakeholders to bring people to an encounter with and faith in Jesus Christ, leading to active membership of the Church</li><li>Collaboration with colleagues and leaders to identify opportunities to enhance formation immersions/experiences for employees, students and parents</li><li>Maintains close connection between RE and Youth Ministry in action in CSBB schools </li><li>Connects Parishes and social justice/charity/outreach providers and agencies with schools </li><li>Ensures quality communication with and engagement of all stakeholders in youth ministry projects </li><li>Evaluates the effectiveness and outcomes of the partnerships of social justice/charity/outreach providers and agencies with schools </li><li>Serves as CSBB’s Coordinator for CSYMA </li><li>Supports RECs and YMCs in schools to develop and implement youth ministry (CSYMA programs) </li><li>Collaborates with the Learning Partner: Evangelisation and Immersions to develop an Immersion Program for secondary students </li><li>Prioritises one’s own faith formation and devotion to Christ, awakening a personal faithfulness to express and share in one’s work and leadership </li><li>Collaboratively progresses and implements CSBB’s Towards 2025 vision </li><li>Leverages existing relationships and networks in schools and parishes to support CSBB’s vision for mission formation </li><li>Contributes to other work of the Workstream as requested</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>About You</b></p><p>As the ideal candidate you will meet the following key requirements:</p><ul><li>A clear understanding of, and personal commitment to the Catholic ethos</li><li>Education degree qualified with additional qualifications in Theology/Religious Education Leadership/Social or Community Services </li><li>Experienced teacher of Religious Education in a primary or secondary school setting </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>RE leadership experience is advantageous </li><li>Experience in coordination or had responsibility for elements of large-scale formation gatherings </li><li>Can leverage connections and networks to develop outreach partnerships with CSBB schools </li><li>Has a keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience </li><li>Works with the customer in mind to serve their needs and requirements </li><li>Can manage competing priorities and the sensitivities of others to deliver high quality work </li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a complex workload in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Valid working with Children Check</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Benefits of Working with Us</b></p><p>An attractive salary on offer, onsite parking or public transport within close proximity, generous leave entitlements and the opportunity to join Catholic Schools Broken Bay as we undertake our Towards 2025 strategy.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Application Process</b></p><p>Applications should include:</p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing the criteria listed above.</li><li>A current resume.</li></ul><p>Applications should be sent directly to careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</p><p><br /></p><p>Applications Close on Sunday 22 May 2022.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Enquiries</b></p><p>If you have any enquiries about this role, please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Tiglao in the Talent team on 0458 025 976 or via email careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</p><p><br /></p><p>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for this position will not be considered.</p><p><br /></p><p><i>Catholic Schools Broken Bay promotes a culture of safety and care for children and young people.
