As part of reimagining the Evangelisation and Catechesis Workstream at CSBB, we have the new position of Learning Partner – Evangelisation and Immersions.

The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p>As part of reimagining the Evangelisation and Catechesis Workstream at Catholic Schools Broken Bay, we will have a number of roles currently advertised.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p>Reporting to the Senior Lead: Evangelisation, we are seeking a Learning Partner – Evangelisation and Immersions who collaborates with key stakeholders to develop an immersion program to enhance opportunities for Evangelisation among employees, staff and students. As part of the role, you would serve as the CSBB’ Coordinator for WYD and ACYF. As a credible and gifted communicator, you will continue to leverage existing relationships and networks in schools and parishes to support CSBB’s Towards 2025 vision and purpose. </p><p>Key role responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Works closely with key stakeholders to bring people to an encounter with and faith in Jesus Christ, leading to active membership of the Church </li><li>Collaboration with colleagues and leaders to identify opportunities to enhance formation immersions/experiences for employees, staff and students. </li><li>Develops a secondary school immersion program to enhance opportunities for evangelisation (including WYD, ACYF and other pilgrimages e.g. Holy Land/ religious sites) </li><li>Serves as CSBB’s Coordinator for WYD and ACYF, working with Chancery </li><li>Experience in coordination or had responsibility for elements of large-scale formation gatherings </li><li>Ensures quality communication with and engagement of all stakeholders in immersions </li><li>Collaboratively progresses and implements CSBB’s Towards 2025 vision </li><li>Prioritises one’s own faith formation and devotion to Christ, awakening a personal faithfulness to express and share in one’s work and leadership </li><li>Contributes to other work of the Workstream as requested</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>About You </b></p><p>As the ideal candidate you will meet the following key requirements: </p><ul><li>A clear understanding of, and personal commitment to the Catholic ethos </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Has knowledge and understanding of school immersion experiences for students </li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a complex workload in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Tertiary qualification in Theology or Leadership would be advantageous </li><li>Valid Working with Children Check</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Benefits of Working with Us </b></p><p>An attractive salary on offer, onsite parking or public transport within close proximity, generous leave entitlements and the opportunity to join Catholic Schools Broken Bay as we undertake our Towards 2025 strategy.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Application Process </b></p><p>Applications should include: </p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing the criteria listed above. </li><li>A current resume. </li></ul><p>Applications should be sent directly to <a href="mailto:careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</a> </p><p>Applications Close on Sunday 22 May 2022.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><b>Enquiries </b></p><p>If you have any enquiries about this role, please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Tiglao in the Talent team on 0458 025 976 or via email careers&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au </p><p>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes for this position will not be considered.</p><p><br /></p><p> </p><p><i>Catholic Schools Broken Bay promotes a culture of safety and care for children and young people.
