<p>The successful applicant will have demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.</p><p><u><b>The ICT Coordinator/Teacher will be responsible for (but not limited to):</b></u></p><ul><li>Teaching ICT to Grade 1 - 6 as part of our release rotations (9.69 hours per week)</li><li>Providing for explicit and differentiated instruction that engages all learners</li><li>Supporting and developing the implementation of an ICT Strategic Plan</li><li>Providing ICT services to support our students, staff and leadership team</li><li>Monitoring and reporting technical queries to our ICT Technician who works one day per week onsite</li><li>Identifying improvments to technical support processes and ICT procedures at our school</li><li>Overseeing the maintenance of the ICT equipment across the school (eg: Chromebooks, data spreadsheets, printers, charging stations and trouble shooting)</li><li>Supporting the school in advocating, promoting and informing students, parents and the staff about cybersafety (eg: in the school newsletter, organising our parent/child cybersafety sessions)</li><li>Embracing the use of ICT to enhance learning</li></ul><p><b><u>Required experience and proficiency will include:</u></b></p><ul><li>Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education</li><li>Have registration with the VIT</li><li>Experience in teaching in a primary school</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum</li><li>Experience with ICT</li><li>An understanding of ICT infrastructure and system requirements in an educational environment and have some general skills and experience in hardware, software, applications, networking and communication</li><li>Good communication skills and an ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and simply</li><li>Possessing well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills</li><li>Willingness to work flexibly as part of a team</li></ul><p><b>Please provide a copy of your Curriculum Vitae along with a brief covering letter and three referees to: </b></p><p><a href="mailto:principal&#64;sbbacchusmarsh.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">principal&#64;sbbacchusmarsh.catholic.edu.au</a>   (Mrs Larissa Feketa - Acting Principal)</p><p>Please feel free to email the Acting Principal if you have any specific questions.<b></b></p><p><u>Applications close:  Friday, 27th May 2022</u><br /></p><p><i>St Bernard&#39;s Primary School promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</i><br /></p>
