Sacred Heart school are seeking a suitably qualified, friendly, dynamic Administration Officer with a focus on financial responsibilities to join our administrative team.

<p> </p><div>We are a small Catholic school community in the heart of vibrant Preston, who honour our faith’s rich traditions and participate in its rituals. We are proud to be able to say that every student in our school is known and families are embraced as part of our Sacred Heart School Family. </div><div><br /></div><div>This position is classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018 as Education Support Category B Level 2. The salary will be commensurate with relevant skills and experience. This position is initially a part-time fixed term position effective Term 3, Monday 11th July 2022 with a view of increasing hours on an on-going position effective Monday 27th January 2023. </div><div><br /></div><div>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. </div><div><br /></div><div>The successful applicant will demonstrate: </div><div>• A warm, friendly and approachable first point of contact to all members of our community, providing excellent customer service to all students and parents/guardians. </div><div>• Adaptability and flexibility according to the varying demands of the role </div><div>• The willingness to learn new ways of working with a new administration system (ICON) and under a new governance structure. </div><div>• An exceptional communication and collaboration skills. </div><div>• The capacity to manage the general administration of the school office, including reception duties (phone, emails, and enquiries) </div><div>• The capacity to coordinate the financial management of the school, working in partnership with the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Business Manager </div><div><br /></div><div>The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check. </div><div><br /></div><div>Applicants must hold full unrestricted working rights for Australia to be considered for this role. </div><div><br /></div><div><b>Selection Criteria</b>: </div><div>Please refer to the Position Description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.
