<p><b>FULL-TIME | SALARY RANGE $ 125,407 - $129,185 P.A. PLUS SUPER </b></p><p><b>6 MONTHS CONTRACT | COMMENCING 18 JULY 2022 to 23 DECEMBER 2022 (NEGOTIABLE) </b></p><p>An exciting opportunity exists for an Advisor Inclusion Support Services working with regional and remote schools in the Northern Territory. The position is based in Darwin Catholic Education Office. </p><p>The Advisor Inclusion Support Services support and advice to Catholic School Principals, Teachers and support staff to develop appropriate pedagogical skills and learning programs to deliver individualised programs to students with identified special needs. A reasonable level of IT literacy is required to support our software-based inclusion processes. </p><p><b>Key responsibilities: </b></p><p>• Support staff in Catholic schools to prepare quality education adjustment plans (EAPs); </p><p>• Foster inclusive practice; holistic education in the Catholic tradition, and an appreciation of teaching and learning; </p><p>• Ensure accurate records for students with special needs; and support schools to collate accurate and relevant data; </p><p>• Ascertainment &amp; Funding – Manage the processing of funding requests for allocated schools and assist in the processing of these requests in conjunction with schools; </p><p>• Liaise with specialists/clinicians involved in the diagnosis or support of students with inclusion needs; </p><p>• Provide advice to coordinators and principals about applicable assistive technology; </p><p>• Manage or participate in special projects or committees as directed by LISS. </p><p>This position may involve working with children. The appointment of the successful applicant will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment with legislation. </p><p>CENT employees are subject to the COVID-19 directions issued by the Northern Territory’s Chief Health Officer (CHO). CHO has mandated that key workers are required to be vaccinated to attend the workplace.
