Marian Catholic College, Kenthurst has an exciting opportunity on offer for a suitably qualified VET / TAS teacher to fill our new VET Leader of Learning position. The ideal applicant will have the initiative, creativity and drive to implement, coordinate and develop this new and exciting middle leadership role. Applicants need to be also able to teach Technical and Applied Studies (TAS) courses and be comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment and be willing to be an active part of the Marian Community.

<p><b>Location: </b>Marian Catholic College - Kenthurst</p><p>Marian Catholic College, Kenthurst is seeking applications from suitably qualified VET teachers who are passionate and energetic in their field to fill this 1pt VET Leader of Learning / Coordinator position.</p> <p>Applicants need to be also able to teach Technical and Applied Studies (TAS) courses and be comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment and be willing to be an active part of the Marian Community.</p> <p>This is a permanent full-time (1FTE) position and attracts the relevant allowance for a 1pt Leader of Learning / Coordinator.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <div>The VET Leader of Learning is directly responsible to the Leader of Learning - Curriculum and shares in leading the Marian Catholic College Learning Community by supporting the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team.&nbsp; They would also support the delivery of high quality contemporary learning and teaching, as well as the design, development and delivery of quality curriculum within the area of Vocational Education and Training. Further, the VET Leader of Learning is responsible to ensure quality assessment and reporting, both internal and external is achieved. Furthermore, this role the VET Leader of Learning must ensure compliance with CEDP and NSW Education Standards Authority.</div> <p dir="ltr"><strong>The Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the VET Leader of Learning are:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr">Encourage and support the Catholic culture, mission and religious ethos of Marian Catholic College.</li> <li dir="ltr"> <div>Give personal witness and model Gospel values and actively support the College motto of ‘Walk with Christ’.</div> </li> <li dir="ltr"> <div>Provide sound leadership to and administration of VET within the College.
