<p>St Joseph’ Primary School Northcote is seeking a full-time highly motivated School Administration Officer with experience in administration, reception and bookkeeping, or 2 part-time positions with experience in either of the above.</p><p>This School Administration Officer has a key role to play in the School at the operational level. The role is vital to the efficient and smooth running of the School on a day to day basis. Duties include processing in a comprehensive computerised administrative system for student records; purchase orders, banking, personnel records, office coordination, administrative services and front desk reception duties.</p><p>The successful candidate will present a professional image and create a welcoming, warm and positive impression. As the initial point of contact for many key stakeholders, the School Administration Officer will deliver high quality customer service. </p><p>Key Selection Criteria<br /></p><ul><li>demonstrated experience in delivering quality customer service, preferably in a family/child setting </li><li>must have a cooperative nature and a kind manner and be capable of supporting children </li></ul><p><b><i>Administration / Reception </i></b></p><ul><li>proficiency in the use of IT, School Administration Software, ICON (highly desirable), or other website management systems </li><li>demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team and to prioritise workloads</li><li> strong organisational and time management skills</li><li>understanding of office management processes including handling and preparation of correspondence and structuring and maintenance of general office duties </li><li>experience in managing and maintaining enrolment processes and records </li><li>use discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information in relation to students, staff and parent/carers within the school community </li></ul><p><b><i>Bookkeeping </i></b></p><ul><li>experience in managing purchase orders and requisitions </li><li>experience with accounts receivable, payable and payroll functions </li><li>experience with accounting software (ICON or Technology One preferable) </li></ul><p>This position is classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018 as Education Support Salaries - Category B. Salary pro rata commensurate with relevant skills and experience. Superannuation contribution in accordance with Superannuation Guarantee Legislation is in addition to this salary payment. Annual leave and professional working hours apply to this position and other conditions as per the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018. </p><p>The successful candidate would be required to have appropriate Criminal Records Checks, Working with Children Check and adhere to the School&#39;s Child Safe Policies. </p><p><i><b>We will be reviewing resumes upon receipt.</b></i></p><p> </p>
