<p>Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS), a Coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St. Marcellin Champagnat, seeks to employ a suitable person for the role of:</p><h4><b>TAS Teacher - Permanent, </b><b>Commencing Term 2 or by Negotiation</b></h4><h5>Preference to teach: Stage 4 Mandatory Technology, Stage 5 Information Software Technology, and Stage 6 Information Processes &amp; Technology</h5><p><br />MCCNS is experiencing an unprecedented increase in enrolment across Stages 3-6 having embarked on a transformative educational project. With an increased and coeducational cohort, a broader subject selection, and therefore the creation of more teaching and learning roles, the College is preparing for an innovative future. In imagining MCCNS over the next five years, we seek people to join and embrace our particular Catholic Marist Community, one which is eager to display the strong traditional and reliable attributes and tenets in education, as well as embracing exciting facilitation and learning in an open and creative curriculum with modern pedagogical delivery. With a deliberate focus of individual achievement based upon student centred learning, scholastic facilitation, school wellbeing, faith development and learning resourcing programs, we aspire to attract candidates who will help bring to realisation our penultimate goal; <i>One school - Unlimited possibilities.</i><br /></p><h5>Interviews may commence with candidates prior to the closing date.</h5><p><br /></p><h4>Key Selection Criteria</h4><p> </p><p>The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following: </p><ul><li>Commitment to Catholic education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students. </li><li>Highly desirable, experience in teaching Stage 6 Information Processes &amp; Technology, </li><li>Stage 5 Information Software Technology together with Stage 4 Mandatory Technology </li><li>Exemplary classroom practice, including the application of a range of evidence-based pedagogical practices that support effective learning. </li><li>Facilitates the ongoing development of differentiated pedagogy and assessment which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data. </li><li>A commitment to continual improvement of teaching and learning in TAS by modelling differentiated pedagogy and reflective classroom practices as well as facilitating staff professional development in best practice teaching skills and content knowledge. </li><li>Highly developed interpersonal skills reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with parents, staff and students. </li><li>Work collaboratively within the TAS faculty and across all year groups, undertaking responsibilities within the team, as required by the TAS Coordinator.</li><li>Collaborates with colleagues to build genuine and professional relationships and to promote shared commitment and a sense of alignment with College strategic directions.<br /></li></ul><p>All applications are to be submitted in writing and addressed to: </p><p>Mr Anthony Boys<br /></p><p>Principal K-12</p><p>Email: john.carnabuci&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au </p><p>The application letter will need to reflect the key selection criteria for the position.
