<p><b>ABOUT THE ROLE: </b></p><p>This role is primarily responsible for teaching the practical components of PDHPE to the students of the College. Teachers are required to prepare and deliver differentiated lessons and meaningful activities to assist the needs and requirements of our residents/students. As Odyssey College is a specialist school, class sizes will vary. </p><p>Staff at Odyssey College are passionate about the contributions they make to the lives of the students. You understand our purpose, mission and vision, and are committed to working well with adults who may have had a negative experience with education in the past to improve their learning outcomes. </p><p><b>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA: </b></p><ul><li>Teacher Accredited with qualifications in, and demonstratable experience Teaching PDHPE.</li><li>Demonstrated classroom practice, utilizing a range of effective pedagogies to maximise learning outcomes.</li><li>Capacity to differentiate teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of diverse adult learners and to support them where change is inherent to their environment.</li><li>High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Able to motivate students to achieve and improve their learning experiences.</li><li>Demonstrated excellence in communication and writing skills.</li><li>Well-developed organization and time management skills.</li><li>Commitment to the OH NSW Mission and Values, WHS, EEO and continuous quality improvement.</li><li>Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.</li><li>Hold a current NSW Driver&#39;s License.</li><li>Hold a valid Working With Children Employee Clearance and will obtain a new Criminal History Check.</li><li>Unlimited rights to live and work in Australia.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p> </p>
