The level of service that the Personal Assistant provides to the Executive Principal will support the efficient and effective administration of our schools and programs, while maintaining all required professional standards. The Personal Assistance to the Principal expected to interact with the complete cross-section of the school community. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key selection criteria: </b></p><p><i>To be successful in this role, you will have: </i></p><ul><li>A commitment to the values and ethos of of MacKillop and a willingness to model these in their dealings with students, staff and parents.</li><li> A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.</li><li>Suitable experience and a background relevant to the role.</li><li>Very strong interpersonal skills, being able to readily display tact and diplomacy when dealing with all members of the community.</li><li>High level of written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Advanced organisational, management and record-keeping skills.</li><li>Demonstrated advanced computer skills across a range of Microsoft applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. </li><li>The ability to confidently engage with Synergetic and cloud-based applications is essential. </li><li>The ability to work as an active member of the school’s administration team and to mentor others in administrative roles.</li></ul><p><b>For a full listing please view Position Description. </b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>You must have a: </b></p><p>• Valid and current Driver’s Licence; </p><p>• Satisfactory Criminal History Check; </p><p>• Valid Working with Children Check; </p><p>• Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check </p><p><br /></p><p>Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply for this position. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>How to Apply: </b>Click &#39;Apply for this Job&#39; where you will be redirected to the Personal Assistant to Executive Principal vacancy within MacKillop&#39;s careers page.
