St Bernard’s College is a vibrant learning community providing holistic boys’ education with a strong focus on academic excellence. The College is seeking suitably qualified and highly motivated Casual Relief Teachers. The position is responsible for actively supervising classes and activities for absent teachers.

<p><b>The primary responsibilities of the position include: </b></p><p>• Provide opportunities to engage students in various learning experiences where students are encouraged and supported in achieving personal excellence.<br />• Provide students with a positive role model through their actions as committed Catholic educators.<br />• To assist students with individual and group work in accordance with the work requirements outlined by the absent staff member, or as directed by the Key Learning Leader (KLL). <br />• Other tasks as directed by the Daily Organisation Leaders and Deputy Principal.</p><p><b>The successful applicant will have a teaching qualification and demonstrate the following competencies: </b></p><p> </p><p>• Experience teaching;<br /></p><p>• Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to the Catholic philosophy and ethos of education; </p><p>• Understanding of the pastoral care needs of boys in a Catholic secondary school; </p><p>• Understanding of Child Safeguarding </p><p>• Experience within a Catholic educational organisation is an advantage. </p><p>Please complete an online application by clicking on the &#39;Apply Now&#39; button by <b>4.00 pm Monday, 4 March 2022. </b></p><p>The College promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children and young people. </p><p>Evidence of a valid Working with Children Check and compliance with the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions are a condition of employment.
