We are currently seeking a part-time (0.4 FTE) STEAM Teacher to join our Junior School on a fixed-term contract from Term 1 2022 until the end of Term 4 2022.

<p>We are currently seeking a part-time (0.4 FTE) STEAM Teacher to join our Junior School on a fixed-term contract from Term 1 2022 until the end of Term 4 2022. You will lead and assist other teachers to develop the respective areas of the Ascham strategic plan so that the Junior School maintains an innovative curriculum that enables the students to attain academic excellence. </p><p>Specific Accountabilities: </p><p>• Implement and promote STEAM programs P-2 </p><p>• Collaborate with class teachers and co-teach STEAM lessons in P-2 </p><p>• Ensure innovative learning opportunities for all girls in STEAM in class and through the provision of an innovative co-curricular program </p><p>• Ensure curriculum development of transdisciplinary STEAM programs to work towards a visionary Ascham curriculum </p><p>To be successful you will possess: </p><p>• Appropriate tertiary and teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA </p><p>• High standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher </p><p>• A demonstrated ability to cater for individual needs and differentiate the curriculum </p><p>• A sound knowledge of the K-6 NESA syllabi </p><p>• A commitment to facilitating outstanding results for all students, particularly ensuring that student results are monitored and tracked and that specific strategies are implemented to improve results </p><p>• An ability to plan for and implement authentic assessment that informs teaching and learning </p><p>• Enthusiasm and willingness to participate in co-curricular activities and contribute to the broader life of the School community </p><p>• Demonstrated excellence in communication and writing skills </p><p>• Well-developed time management and organisational skills </p><p>• Willingness to continue to develop as a teacher </p><p>• A current First Aid &amp; CPR certificate </p><p>• A valid Working with Children clearance </p><p>The successful applicant will enjoy a stimulating work environment in a team of talented professionals and attractive remuneration and benefits. </p><p>Further information (including position description) for this role is available at <a href="http://www.ascham.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.ascham.nsw.edu.au</a> </p><p>Please apply via SEEK with a copy of your CV (inc.
