We welcome applications from suitably qualified people of all ages, genders, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.</p> <p>MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> The role of Education Officer, Student Wellbeing will support the development and delivery of strategic system- wide initiatives and policies that enable Catholic school communities to create safe, inclusive and respectful learning environments where children and young people thrive. This role also contributes to promote a culture of innovative system and school practice designed to enhance the holistic wellbeing of students and their capacity to effectively engage with learning.<br> <br> This position is classified under the Education Officer (EO) scale within Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018 with salary starting from $108,160 per annum. In addition to this salary base, superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation will apply. Salary packaging arrangements are available to staff of MACS. Annual leave of four weeks and professional working hours apply to this position<br> <br> This is full-time, fixed term position until July 2022, based at our Western Region Office in Werribee.<br> <br> <strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> We are looking for a highly skilled leader in the student wellbeing arena who has strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and a willingness to contribute to a team effort in improving learning, social and wellbeing outcomes and ongoing spiritual development for every student. Your attention to detail, advanced ICT skills and sound knowledge of the key principals underpinning Critical Incident Management will be essential to your success in this role.<br> <br> The successful candidate must hold or acquire a Working with Children Check, and must be willing to acquire a National Police Record Check.
