We welcome applications from suitably qualified people of all ages, genders, cultural and linguistic backgrounds.</p> <p>MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION</strong><br> Working as a part of the Legal and Professional Standards team, the role of Complex Case Adviser (Central) will be responsible for the intake and assessment of all cases identified and referred into the Complex Issues Management (CIM) model and overall accountability for the continuous improvement and refinement of the model and framework.<br> <br> Salary for this position is from $125,000 per annum commensurate with requisite skills, qualifications and experience. Superannuation contribution in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee Legislation is in addition to this salary payment. Salary packaging arrangements are also available to staff of MACS. Professional working hours and annual leave of four weeks apply to this position.<br> <br> This is a full-time, ongoing role based at our Head Office in East Melbourne.<br> <br> <strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL</strong><br> The successful applicants will have a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to schools in Victoria. You will also have a detailed understanding of complaints management policy and frameworks, and experience in developing and/or applying complaints management policy, frameworks and activities across an organisation, preferably in the context of education. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate issues, risks, requirements and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to this role.<br> <br> The successful candidate must hold or acquire a Working with Children Check, and must be willing to acquire a National Police Record Check.
